Coaching is not a replacement for psychotherapy, and in some cases, people work with both therapists and coaches in tandem. For parts of your past and trauma that need further exploration and processing, I recommend working with a licensed clinical therapist.
While therapy primarily focuses on where you’re currently at based on what’s happened in your past (your childhood, lived experiences, traumas), coaching focuses on your future: where you want to go, who you want to be, and what you want in your life. Coaching relies on you and your goals and desires and pulls from your own wisdom to create transformation in your life. As a coach, I will support you in your journey, but you will be the ultimate guide of your process. The coaching container will be safe, confidential, with no judgment and my role will be to support and empower you in your process.
Somatic coaching is a holistic approach that expands the coaching container to focus on the body, where the body is a key part of change and transformation. In this work, we engage the body as an instrument to access the unconscious parts of your mind which drives over 90% of our behavior as humans.
In somatic coaching, we integrate practices that allow you to tune into your felt senses in the body that are related to beliefs, stories and patterns that run through your mind and affect your day-to-day behaviors, habits and responses. You learn to tune into feelings and their associated sensations in the body.
With this awareness, you open up a deeper understanding of yourself, and you engage in practices to shift these patterns in the body and the mind to be more aligned with your goals and desires in life - to show up differently. Through this work, you will become more embodied and more attuned to your inner wisdom and guidance, you will learn to improve your capacity, and you will learn to change core patterns of behavior.

While the framework of my 1:1 coaching container is the same for all my clients, the actual coaching experience will be COMPLETELY customized to you: your beliefs, patterns, goals, and your capacity. What we work on in our sessions will be guided by you and your process.
I typically work in 90-minute sessions via Zoom, where sessions are held every other week to allow for integration between sessions.
The sessions can be recorded for you to reference if you like, and I provide my notes from each session.
I am available by email and/or Voxer between sessions for support.
I work with you to customize personal practices to support your transformation process, typically provided by audio or video.

If you want change in your life and it’s drawing you to be coached, the commitment is there - even if it’s unclear what the process may be exactly. You can’t fail.
Knowing that coaching is a process is important. I will support you in understanding yourself better, and diving into your unconscious to start rewiring parts of your brain that you want to shift - those old beliefs or stories or behaviors that no longer serve you.
With 1:1 coaching being completely tailored to fit into your life and your capacity, we’ll work together to build a roadmap for you that’s actually attainable for you, while still supporting your desire to make shifts toward the aligned life you want for yourself.

This work is not about focusing on doing things perfectly, but rather, doing things in ways that support you spiritually and emotionally and align with your deepest needs and desires
